Jamie Robinson made his senior debut for the Cardiff club on his 19th birthday against Sale in 1999. He didn't score a try to mark the occasion but soon made up for that oversight with touchdowns in each of the next three games and then went to town with four in one match against Newcastle Falcons. By the end of the 2002/03 season his career record with the club was 31 tries in 105 games. Like Rhys Williams and Ryan Powell he starred for Wales under-19s in the FIRA World Cup and was obviously earmarked for senior international honours. In 2000 he went to Canada with the Wales Development team, again making a big impression, and has followed that with senior tours to Japan, South Africa and, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. Jamie won his senior cap against Japan in 2001 and was selected for the Wales 2007 RWC squad.
