In response to demand from fans, O2 have confirmed that the game will be screened in the 3D format at the Cardiff Cineworld cinema on Saturday Feb 6, 2010.

WRU Group Chief Executive, Roger Lewis, said: “We are delighted that rugby fans in Wales will now be able to see the match action live in 3D.

“Thousands of Welsh rugby followers will make their way to Twickenham, but this gives some of the fans back home a chance to get together for a great matchday experience.

“The television coverage of the RBS 6 Nations on the BBC is fantastic but this will give another dimension to the occasion for some fans who will undoubtedly revel in a great atmosphere at Cineworld in Cardiff.

“It is a credit to O2 that they have recognised the importance of this experiment to the Welsh fans and I thank them for making this happen in Cardiff.

“The Wales team take inspiration from the great following they enjoy and I know our head coach Warren Gatland and his team are very pleased to know the fans are getting their wish to see the game in 3D.”
