U14’s Swansea 0 Cardiff & The Vale 50

This was a very good performance by the whole team, the forwards secured their own scrum and lineout ball, then eagerly went about turning over ball putting the Swansea forwards under a huge amount of pressure.

This enabled the backline to create some excellent passing movements giving in particular Ben Harding and Joseph McLean on the wings opportunity to show their individual pace and power.
At scrum half Ollie Williams played beyond his years with Vice Captain Jack Phillips in very good form calling the moves to great effect.
At forward prop Gavin Nash had his best game not only effective at the contact areas but also carrying the ball at the right times. He was ably supported by Captain Patrick Mullins who continues to show great maturity in leading his team with his foraging for any loose ball and barnstorming runs.
