This season will see the setting up of U13 girls development centres throughout the Blues region
The centres are open to girls of all experience and are a great way to further their development. The centres will also give young girls the chance to meet other girls interested in Women’s Rugby.
The U13 development centres will be held at the following venues;
Blues North:Aberdare RFC
Venue: Michael Sobell Sports Centre, Playing Fields
Held on Monday Nights, 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Blues West: Pontyclun RFC
Venue: Windsor fields, Pontyclun RFC
Held on Thursday Nights, 5:45pm – 6:45pm
Blues South: Barry RFC
Venue: Reservoir Fields Merthyr Dyfan Road
Held on Sundays, 1pm -2pm
Blues Central: Cardiff Quins RFC
Venue: The Diamond Ground Forest Farm Road
Held on Wednesday Nights, 5:30pm – 6:30pm
To celebrate the opening of U13 development centres, there will be a special launch event at each of the above venues, the centres will be joined by an international player! The international player will be there to deliver part of the session and will also be available to answer any questions you have about their training, it will be a great way to get some top tips!
The dates for the launches are:
Blues North: Aberdare RFC, Monday 2nd April 6:00pm -7:30pm
Blues West: Pontyclun RFC, Thursday 26th April 5:45pm -6:45pm
Blues South: Barry RFC, Sunday 20th May 1pm-2pm
Blues Central: Cardiff Quins RFC, Wednesday 2nd May 5:30pm -6:30pm
Why not come and watch the U18s final game this season, where they will be taking on a North Wales side? This is set to be a big game; the U18s have currently won all three of their games and will be looking to make it four from four. The game is being held at Gwernyfed RFC, on the 8th April, 2:30pm KO.
