Cardiff Blues star duo Dafydd Hewitt and Chris Dicomidis were the special guests as Blues Rugby Camps returned in style on day one of our February half-term camp!
Children aged between six and 14-years-old from across our region have been given the opportunity to participate in rugby camps during the holidays at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park.
Our February half-term camp sold out in advance and today (Tuesday) over 130 children were at the home of the Cardiff Blues!
It is the second successive Blues Rugby Camp to sell out in advance with the October camps also full to capacity.
And to celebrate day one of the Blues Rugby Camp this February the children were joined during the afternoon session by Hewitt and Dicomidis who signed autographs and joined in tag rugby games.
Nadine Griffiths, Cardiff Blues Community Manager, said: “It was fantastic to see the sun come out and over 130 children on the pitch at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park enjoying rugby in the half-term.
“Our thanks to Dafydd and Chris for coming down to meet the children and we look forward to more players popping in this week to meet the next generation of young rugby hopefuls.
“We will be announcing details of our Blues Rugby Camps for April in the coming weeks and would encourage anyone interested in taking part to book early to avoid disappointment.”
