The Future Blues Tag Festival supported by Black Horse took place at Cardiff Arms Park last week with over three hundred pupils playing on the famous turf over two days.

Year 5 pupils from schools across Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff took part in the Blues South event to display their Tag rugby skills and pick up tips from Future Blues coaches and Cardiff Blues players.

Blues South Development Officer Nadine Griffiths said, “Its certainly be a great festival of rugby the last two days. The weather has been kind to us and some famous names like Rhys Williams have dropped by to cheer on the children. Most importantly they have all enjoyed the wonderful experience of playing at the home of the Blues.”

The young girls and boysÂ’ efforts were certainly rewarded; not only with the skills they learned, but they also each received a Future Blues certificate, free voucher for today’s game against Leinster, a discount offer in the Blues shop and a plaque.
