Czekaj makes comeback for Blues

12th August 2008

Cardiff Blues wing Chris Czekaj will play his first game of rugby for over a year when he starts against the Combined Blues Regional Premiership side on Thursday 14 August. The match kicks off at 7.15pm at Sardis Road.

Having broken his leg in five places on the Wales summer tour to Australia in 2007 the young winger has worked hard in rehabilitation and is now ready to play his first match.

New recruits Richard Mustoe and Ceri Sweeney will also make their first starts for the Blues, with Blues Academy graduates Rhys Gill, James Down and Sam Warburton also starting.

Season ticket holders at Cardiff RFC, Pontypirrd RFC, Glamorgan Wanderers RFC and the Cardiff Blues can watch the match for free by showing their 2007/08 season ticket. The match kicks off at 7.15pm at Sardis Road with entry for non season ticket holders at £5 for adults and £3 for under 18’s.
