To mark the fifth year of Regional Rugby in Wales, the Blues will be holding a Regional Clubs Day, on St Davids Day, Saturday 1st March when Munster visit the Arms Park.
As the race for the Magners league title hots up, fourth placed Munster, take on second place Cardiff Blues in this crucial match, kick off 5.30pm.
As part of the celebrations everyone who wears their club shirts to the match will receive £5 off their ticket for the Blues versus Scarlets fixture which will be played at the Arms Park on Friday 11th April at 7.10pm.
Two lucky supporters will also have the chance to win a pair of tickets for Wales versus France RBS 6 Nations fixture on 15th March. Two junior supporters will have the chance to win places on a Future Blues holiday coaching camps to be held in the school holidays.
The under 10s squad members of all sixty five clubs within the Blues region have received tickets for the match and young rugby players from throughout the region will be forming a guard of honour to welcome the players onto the pitch and will also take part in a half time activities.
Speaking of the match, Richard Hodges – Blues Community & Coach Development Manager said, We have taken great strides both on and off the pitch at the Blues over recent seasons. Supporters from throughout the region have really got behind the team and the Regional Clubs Day is a great way of bringing everyone together.
The half time tag matches between the under 8s at the Arms Park have given youngsters a real feel for rugby and Im sure there will be a great atmosphere at the Munster match. All the young supporters get a chance to meet the players in their Adopt a Player session with most teams choosing to invite the players to their end of season awards nights
