Home victories for Cardiff RFC and Pontypridd RFC at the weekend means two teams from the Blues region are in the semi-finals of the Konica Minolta Cup.
Cardiff defeated Llandovery 10-nil at Cardiff Arms Park, with all the points coming in the final 15 minutes. In a full blooded contest Pontypridd overcame a spirited performance from Builth Wells 28-20 at Sardis Road.
Cardiff and Pontypridd are joined in the semi-final draw next Tuesday by Maesteg and Neath. The matches will be played on the weekend of 22 April. Cardiff's scheduled Principality Premiership match against Pontypridd on that day has been postponed with a new date yet to be decided.
