Cardiff Blues have received major boost ahead of this Sunday’s Amlin Cup final with the news that Richie Rees and Tauf’au Filise are both fit and available for selection.

Cardiff Blues have received major boost ahead of this Sunday’s Amlin Cup final with the news that Richie Rees and Tauf’au Filise are both fit and available for selection.

Scrum half, Rees, picked up and ankle injury in the 20-14 win over Dragons on the 23rd of April, while prop forward Filise picked up a minor groin injury in the 18-15 win over London Wasps in the semi final of the Amlin Cup.

Speaking at the Vale of Glamorgan Training Centre today, Cardiff Blues Physiotherapist Tim Atter said, “Both players have responded well to treatment over recent weeks and both are fit to play in the final against Toulon this Sunday.”
