Mann was a talented young centre back with the Cardiff City and spent time in their academy before making the decision to concentrate on rugby.
He came through the ranks of his hometown club of Aberdare and the Cardiff Rugby pathway while also representing Wales at Under-18 and Under-19 level.
The back-row forward captained Wales for two seasons at U20 level, and made his debut for the Blue and Blacks off the bench against Harlequins in December 2021.
But it was during the 2023-24 season that Mann enjoyed his breakthrough season in Blue & Black. He was ever present in the first half of the campaign and his standout performances led to a Wales call up.
He scored a try on his international debut after coming on as a second half replacement against Scotland in the 2023 Guinness Six Nations.
Mann was named the club’s Breakthrough Player of the Year following a remarkable season at the Arms Park.
