Director of Rugby Mark Hammett addressed the media this afternoon to unveil his new man and believes Amorosino can be a success once he settles into his new surroundings.
“I am pleased that Lucas is joining us,” said Hammer. “It is no secret that we need to strengthen our outside work and Lucas should provide that. He is an experienced campaigner who has played a lot of international rugby.
“He can play full back or wing and has a good left foot so we are excited to get him here. It’s a win/win situation, if he enjoys it and we enjoy what he has got to offer.
“Lucas is a versatile player who has played on the left, right and at full back at international level. We will get him settled and see where he is best for Cardiff Blues.”
