Flanker Martyn Williams was voted the supporters' player of the year last season.
In a difficult season for the Blues, the teams captain and British Lion was also named as Six Nations Player of the Championship for his inspired performances with Wales.
The supporters club presentation evening took place this week. Although Martyn was unavailable due to personal commitments, his award was received on his behalf by Nick Robinson.
Robin Sowden -Taylor received the Cardiff Blues Most Improved Player award, Dan Mcshane received the Cardiff RFC Player of the Year award. John Yapp, Rhys Thomas and Robin Sowden-Taylor received plates for their first Welsh caps.
The supporters club held a race night on the same evening and would like to extend a big thank you, especially to Nicky who helped us sell tickets for the racing (quite a new experience for him!) and to Marj, Vaughan and June who provided a wonderful buffet!
