New Cardiff Blues outside half Dan Parks will make his debut for the region this Friday when they take on the Newport Gwent Dragons.

David Young has named a strong side ahead of Friday night's match which will be played as part of the Martyn Williams Testimonial Year celebrations.

Parks will make his debut at fly half, partnering Richie Rees, with Chris Czekaj retaining his place at full back and Casey Laulala partnering Tom Shanklin at centre.

The Amlin Cup back row of Rush, Williams and Molitika are back in action while Captain Paul Tito is partnered by Bradley Davies. There is a young front row with Scott Andrews, Rhys Williams and Tom Davies all given run outs.

The Blues Supporters Quarter will host a fun packed Summer Party at the match and is located in the concourse area behind the Canton Stand and open to all from 6pm with the match kicking off at 7.30pm.
