There is mixed news of the Blues' two injured players after last night's match against the Dragons.
The good news is that scrum-half Ryan Powell, who was assisted from the field in the 51st minute with what appeared to be a serious ankle injury, has only suffered severe bruising. He will be fit for selection when the Celtic League campaign resumes on 28 November.
Unfortunately the news on wing Lee Abdul is less happy. Lee suffered a double fracture of the ankle and was operated on this (Saturday) morning. He is unlikely to play again this season.
Coach David Young said,
"This is obviously very sad news about Lee. He has been a wonderful team member since being called up to the regional team on several occasions this season and has always given 100 per cent. We send him our best wishes for a speedy recovery."
Meanwhile the Cardiff club side has played its latest match in the Premier Division against Pontypridd. For a full report see www.cardiffrfc.co.uk
