Cardiff Rugby can confirm their United Rugby Championship clash against the Ospreys on April 23, will take place at Cardiff Arms Park.
The Welsh derby has been the showpiece event at Judgement Day in the Principality Stadium in recent years.
However, the hotly anticipated derby will take place at Cardiff Arms Park for the first time since December 2013.
Cardiff Rugby chief executive Richard Holland said: “It is great to be able to stage another Welsh derby at the Arms Park. They are always special occasions that generate a lot of interest and bring bumper crowds.
“We have a very busy second half to the season, with plenty to play for and to take on the Ospreys in a league game at the Arms Park for the first time in almost a decade is brilliant.
“Judgement Day was looked at but with so many complications to the season we felt the most sensible decision was to play at club crowds and we know our supporters will come out in force.
“Tickets for all remaining home games are available and we are hoping for consecutive sell outs in our April Welsh derbies”.
