On Sunday (1st September), the RAG-17s will play their final game of the summer, with an early departure and a long trip up to North to play a strong RGC side.

Cardiff have made 12 changes to the starting line up from the team that played the Dragons.

Talent and Pathway Manager, Aled James, said: “We have made several changes this week to the starting lineup up and six for the bench.

“We wanted to use the summer programme to expose as many players to RAG as possible.

“As a group we were disappointed with the score line against the Dragons. We didn’t feel the performance represented the effort, skill and commitment shown by these young men over the summer.

“Sunday will provide the players with a new challenge, with an early start, long trip, all of which is part of their development process.

“Once again we have gone with a young side to create depth and competition for the RAG post Christmas block.

“We have already given 32 players the experience of playing at this level and we look forward to the conclusion of the summer programme with a good performance on Sunday.”
