Cardiff drawn in mouth-watering Champions Cup pool

Cardiff Rugby have been drawn in a mouth-watering Pool 2 as they return to the European Champions Cup in the 2023-24 season.

The Blue and Blacks have been drawn alongside newly crowned Top14 champions Toulouse, Bath Rugby, Racing Metro, Harlequins and Ulster Rugby.

A new format introduced for the forthcoming season will see Cardiff play four pool stage fixtures with clashes against one English club and one French club both home and away. Teams from the same league competition will not face each other.

Wednesday's draw brings the prospect of two hugely exciting European days at the Arms Park against old rivals Toulouse or star-packed Racing and West Country giants Bath or Harlequins, who boast a number of former Blue and Black players and coaches within their ranks.
