Cardiff Blues will be celebrating St David's Day when the region faces Edinburgh Rugby at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 12.45pm) - with hundreds of children invited as part of our Regional Schools Day.
All schools within our region have been invited to the fixture and to join the St David’s Day parade around the pitch at half-time.
An exclusive kids marquee will also be open from 11.15am for all to enjoy pre-match entertainment under cover. Primary Schools children are also encouraged to wear their St David’s Day attire for a half-time parade to celebrate the day in style.
BT Sport are also supporting the big day by inviting staff to the big game and Ann Beynon, Director, BT Cymru Wales, believes it will be a special day of national celebration.
“We are all looking forward to enjoying an important celebration of national pride and passion for Welsh rugby with the Cardiff Blues hosting this great family celebration in the heart of the capital,” she said.
“It’s a perfect day out to show pride in Wales and we are backing the Cardiff Blues by teaming up with them to offer our BT colleagues in the capital a special ticket offer for them and their families to join in the celebrations. It’s a great example of our partnership bringing everyone closer.”
