Cardiff Blues, the Amlin Cup champions, will be heading to the Royal Welsh Show this summer as part of their summer events programme.

Having returned from their summer break, the players will be put through their paces by the Blues conditioning team as they take part in a coaching session on Wednesday 21 July, between 11.30am and 2.30pm, which is open to all.

The Blues are inviting all their supporters to come down to watch the session and get a glimpse of the type of pre season training the players do over the summer months, as well as seeing the unveiling of the new shirt that the team will be wearing next season.

The Blues will also have a stand at the show with the Amlin Cup trophy on hand, giving supporters, young and old, the chance to have their photo taken with the cup. The Blues won the Amlin Cup in the south of France, with a memorable 28 to 21 point victory over Toulon. Commemorative merchandise and a DVD have been produced to celebrate the magnificent win and other merchandise and posters are also available for youngsters.

Having held summer events around the region for several years, the Blues have always received a terrific welcome from their supporters and have already visited the Cardiff Outdoor Action Show and the National Armed Forces Day
