Cardiff Blues' director of coaching David Young will select from a squad of 26 for the game against Leicester Tigers on Saturday.
He said, "If all goes to plan we will be giving some game time to newcomers like Rob Sidoli, Deiniol Jones and Gethin Jenkins. At the moment it also looks as if Gareth Williams, Robin Sowden-Taylor and Jamie Robinson will also feature, subject to late fitness tests.The Tigers have named a strong side and we aim to be very competitive in what will be a real test for us ahead of the start of the Celtic League next week."
Blues' skipper Martyn Williams is not included in the party to travel because of family commitments.
