Cardiff Blues South under 16s continued their push for a place in the final of the WRU Regional Championship with a 58-5 victory over the Dragons at Pentyrch.
James Egan and Gareth Price, with two tries apiece, put the Blues on their way to a resounding success and Lee Collier, Shane Regan, Chris Holcombe and Ceri Llewellyn added further scores as the Dragons were put to the sword.
Blues team manager John Richards said, “It was an excellent victory and I was delighted with the manner in which we played. We have just got to keep things going now and make sure that our standards don’t drop.”
In the other game, Neath Swansea Ospreys defeated Blues North 23-8 at Maesteg.
The excellent Tom Williams bagged two tries and lock Jamie Richards a third as the Ospreys kept on the pressure at the top end of the table. Gareth King grabbed a consolation score for the Blues and Nathan Rees added a second half penalty.
