The WRU Regional Championship ended in victory for Dale McIntosh and his Cardiff Blues North Under-16s team with a 33-17 win over Newport Gwent Dragons at Aberdare.
The North were by far the more dominant team scoring seven tries and winning in some style by collecting a bonus point as well. Garyn Lucas, Jake Thomas, Mike Powell, Mark Fleet, Tom Price and Adam John all crossed the try line for the North and Nathan Rees added three points with a penalty.
The season may be over for the North but all eyes will now be focused on Blues South Under 16s. In the other game of the round at Stradey Park the Scarlets defeated the Ospreys 22-14 and will play Blues South in the final at the Millennium Stadium on April 30.
