Tal Selley joined the Cardiff Blues on a year long loan from the Ospreys in 2007. Educated in Pembroke Comprehensive and the University of Wales Swansea, Tal played for local clubs Pembroke Dock Quins, Narberth, and Llandovery. A centre/wing Tal was a prolific scorer for the Llanelli Scarlets before leaving in 2006. He scored a try on his international debut for Wales in 2005 versus USA and helped Wales reach the semi-finals in the final two legs of the IRB World Sevens series in 2007.
