Damian Welch

Damian was educated at Little Heath School and Cardiff University, from where he played club rugby in Wales with Pontypridd. He has also played for Llantwit Fardre. He joined Cardiff in the summer of 2007 and made his Blue's - Blacks' debut in the pre-season friendly against Pertemps Bees. After half-a-dozen Premiership games at lock he was moved to the back row where he was equally outstanding.
