IOAN LLOYD

A former Cardiff school-boy, Ioan Lloyd returned to the Arms Park and his boyhood club ahead of the 2025-26 season.

The versatile play-maker, who can play right across the backline, came through the Cardiff pathway but linked up with Bristol after moving to Clifton College.

He became  Bristol’s youngest-ever player in the English Premiership when, at the age of 18, he made a try-scoring appearance as a replacement in the West Country derby against Bath.

Lloyd won international honours at U18 and 20s level and made his senior Test debut in 2020, now boasting seven caps.

Having racked up 78 appearances for Bristol, he joined the Scarlets in 2023, and arrives back at Cardiff as the BKT United Rugby Championship’s 2024-25 Gilbert Golden Boot winner.
