Coach David Young has included all of his squad’s five World Cup representatives in the Blues starting line-up to play Munster in Cork on Friday evening.
Martyn Williams leads a team that includes Rhys Williams at full back, Tom Shanklin on the wing, Iestyn Harris at fly-half and Namibia’s Heino Senekal at lock.
Young said, “We have come through a tough opening three months of the Celtic League campaign in reasonable shape. Our injury crisis is at last decreasing and that coincides with the return of the five boys from Australia. The change in our options can be seen in the quality of the players we have named as replacements.
“We have prepared well this week and we’re all looking forward to a tough test against Muster and then the ultimate challenge of the Heineken Cup starting next week. It promises to be an interesting month leading up to Christmas.”
