bmibaby, the award winning airline with tiny fares, has teamed up with Ty Hafan Childrens Hospice to launch its third aircraft based at Cardiff International Airport.
The aircraft will fly on bmibabys new routes to Amsterdam, Glasgow and Belfast this summer.
The aircraft has been named butterfly baby by the family of eight year old Stacey Butler from Barry, who attends Ty Hafan Hospice. bmibaby opened a competition to all children and families attending the hospice to name the new aircraft and explain their reasons why. Stacey and her family were presented with £250 worth of travel credits which they plan to use for a future trip with the family. bmibaby also presented Ty Hafan with a cheque for £500 who will be the official charity of the Cardiff Blues in the 2006/07 season.
