Cardiff Rugby vs Scarlets. The first of three Festive Derbies and our first Pledgeball fixture of the season!

This season we will be working with Pledgeball before, during and after each Welsh derby at Cardiff Arms Park.

With Christmas approaching, and all the indulgence and extravagance, we are asking supporters to think about the impact you could have off the pitch.

By making small nature-friendly changes to your daily routine, you can make a great difference to our efforts to protect the green spaces around us.

What are these small changes and what is a pledge?
These small changes can be anything from taking a shorter shower, to eating veggie 2 days a week. If you pledge to give one of these actions a go in the name of your club, you can WIN a signed rugby ball or 4x tickets to the sky lodge.

Not only that, you can help your team climb up the Pledgeball leaderboard of other fans pledging in the name of their clubs.

Every fan who makes a pledge before midnight on matchday will be in with a chance to win the prizes! You got it, pledge and win big.

Rugby fans have a huge power to drive change—by making small, simple swaps in everyday life.

Here’s how:

• Cardiff Arms Park worth of fans switching to a green energy supplier equates to taking 2267 cars off the road.
• Cardiff Arms Park worth of fans buying eco-friendly or second-hand gifts equates to taking 878 cars off the road.

• If our X followers cycled to work, it would equate to 8,708 cars off the road. 

• If everyone in Cardiff arms park (12,125) switched to a green energy supplier it would be the equivalent of 1,491 cars off the road
