On Sunday 31st January the Blues Supporters' Club hosted a VIP event for a group of their members in the Premier Club at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Eighty guests were invited to enjoy a drinks reception prior to the Newcastle Falcons game before taking their seats in the Premier seating area. Sarah Hopkins, Chairperson said
''The guests were selected from a random draw of our members and we were delighted at the positive response to the event. The facilities in the Premier Club were certainly impressive and everyone commented on how nice it was to get together with other supporters' club members in an informal event."
After enjoying the Blues excellent win over Newcastle Falcons, the guests returned to the Premier Club to see the presentation of the Player of the Month Awards for the first half of the season. CBSC members Rebecca Jones, Sue and Stuart Barter, and Kevin Fitzgerald were handed the job of presenting the awards to Richie Rees and Sam Warburton and two awards to Gareth Williams who collected them on behalf of Xavier Rush.
Next up for the Supporters' Club is a trip to Newcastle for the Amlin Cup Quarter Final, details of which will be released shortly (you can register your interest now by contacting Graeme on 07825 219354), as well as a Ladies Lunch in March, taking place at Pica Pica.
