CBSC held their inaugural AGM last week at the Cardiff City Stadium and members had the chance to get up close and personal with the Amlin Challenge Cup.
CBSC held their inaugural AGM last week at the Cardiff City Stadium and members had the chance to get up close and personal with the Amlin Challenge Cup.
At the meeting, Chairperson Sarah Hopkins reviewed a very successful first year for CBSC, the highlight of which was raising £3,400 for their adopted charity - Ty Hafan. CBSC members were also asked to vote for their Player of the Season.
This honour went to popular Number 8 Xavier Rush, whilst Newcomer of the Year went to Casey Laulala. The two Kiwi's also shared joint honours in the Junior Section vote for their Player of the Year. CBSC will present the players with their awards at a special event early in the forthcoming season. Congratulations to both Xavier and Casey !
Finally CBSC have had a number of changes to their committee for season 2010/11 - with the line up now as follows: Sarah Hopkins, Graeme Prance, Becky McLean, Joe Winton, Catherine Smart and Stuart Barter.
