With less than a month to go until the Blues take on Leinster in the Quarter Finals of the Heineken Cup, Cardiff Blues Supporters' Club are delighted to announce the details of two special events to celebrate the occasion!
In Dublin, our ‘Blues HQ’ will be located in a marquee in the grounds of the Sandymount Hotel which is very close to the Aviva Stadium. Supporters are invited to gather at the venue from 2pm to enjoy the pre-match build up with Edinburgh v Toulouse on the big screen. We will head to the Stadium in good time for the game and then we will be hosting our ‘Win, Lose or Draw’ party back at the marquee afterwards. Food is available at the venue to satisfy those pre and post match munchies. Everyone is welcome but we’d appreciate if you would register your interest with us so that we can advise the hotel on numbers so that they can staff appropriately to keep us all fed and watered!
In Cardiff, we are holding the ‘Blues HQ’ at Cardiff Arms Park ‘Pack Room’ which has been reserved exclusively for CBSC members and their guests who can’t make it to Dublin. With kick off at 5.45pm, there’s plenty of time to watch Cardiff RFC in action on the pitch before gathering in The Pack for kick off. Food will be available and the Arms Park staff will be on hand to ensure that you don’t go thirsty! Again, everyone is welcome but please register your interest to ensure that your needs can be catered for!
Think Pink!
For those who are making the trip – CBSC have designated Pink as the official Tour Colour, in order that we can make ourselves seen in the Leinster crowd! So please wear your pink shirts in support of the boys. The Blues are encouraging their female fans to wear their pink shirts to the match and there's a special offer of £15 off these shirts online or at the Stadium Superstore. CBSC have also commissioned special tour shirts which will be on sale soon for just £10 and there will be the opportunity to purchase a special edition ‘Welsh Miners Hat’ in pink at the Sandymount on the day. Check out our website for further information over the coming days. T shirts will need to be ordered by 24th March to ensure that they arrive in time for the trip.
