Cardiff Blues scrum half rising star Tomos Williams has capped a superb season in the Principality Premiership by being voted best newcomer at the end of season awards.

Wales Under-20 star Williams, who has already played five games for Blues, has been an impressive form for league champions Pontypridd, who also picked up the fair play award.

Other winners on the night included Jason Strange (Ebbw Vale) being voted coach of the year and Cross Keys flanker Scott Matthews being named player of the year.
