Cardiff Rugby can confirm that Wales scrum-half Ellis Bevan has joined Bristol Bears on a four-week loan deal as injury cover during their Premiership Rugby Cup campaign.

The 25-year-old, who made his international debut against South Africa in June 2024 and has 41 appearances for the club, links up with the English side immediately ahead of their clash with Bath at Ashton Gate on Friday night.

Cardiff Rugby have supported the move to ensure Bevan gains valuable game time ahead of the club’s return to URC action at the end of November.
