Cardiff Blues have completed arrangements for a second mouthwatering pre-season fixture in August.
Northampton Saints will follow Leicester Tigers to Cardiff Arms Park for a game with Cardiff Blues on Friday 29 August, the eve of the Wales v Scotland international match.
The Saints first played Cardiff Rugby in 1926 and the clubs have met regularly ever since. Last season the crack Zurich Premiership team were too strong for the club side in two Heineken Cup ties.
Their appearance at the Arms Park, together with that of Leicester Tigers the previous Friday, will provide early test of the strength in depth of the new Cardiff Blues' squad.
