Ryan comes through unscathed

13th November 2004

Ryan Powell reported no ill-effects after his first competitive outing for the Blues in over six months

The international scrum-half has been recovering from shoulder surgery and played for 25 minutes as a replacement against Glasgow. He said afterwards,

"I was dying to get out on the pitch and I enjoyed the game time I had. Thankfully I feel fine after it and can now look forward to more chances over the next few weeks."

One Blues casualty was wing Dean Dewdney who received several stitches to a mouth wound.
