The countdown is on for Richmond FC and Summerfest as the 2025-26 season approaches fast.
Cardiff kick-off their preparations for the new BKT United Rugby Championship season with a friendly against the newly-promoted English Championship outfit on Saturday, September 6.
The day will also double up as our annual Summerfest, with an action-packed day for the whole family planned at the Arms Park.
Gates open at 11am, with the brilliant Community Foundation holding a number of skills masterclasses alongside our international stars, there will be Q&As, live music, vehicles and activations from numerous emergency services, and our 2025-26 kit launch.
It will be the first time Cardiff’s senior side have faced Richmond since the 1998-1999 Rebel Season, where the two side’s recorded a win a piece.
There were of course several familiar faces that made the move to Richmond in the 90s and we are hoping to see the likes of Andy Moore, Adrian Davies and Craig Quinnell enjoying the late summer action.
Tickets for Cardiff Rugby versus Richmond FC are included in all Season Membership packages and will be available to purchase now. The fixture will take place with unreserved seating.
Cardiff kick-off the 2025-26 URC season against Emirates Lions on Saturday, September 27 (7:45pm).
