Olly Robinson departs club with immediate effect

Cardiff Rugby can confirm Olly Robinson has left the club with immediate effect.

The flanker departs Cardiff Arms Park by mutual consent having made 80 first team appearances since joining as injury cover during the 2017-18 season.

Robinson instantly hit the ground running in the Welsh capital and played an integral role in winning the European Challenge Cup where he came off the replacements bench and produced a man-of-the-match performance. He then went on to win the then PRO14 Tackle and Turnover awards in consecutive seasons.

Olly Robinson said “I am incredibly proud of what I achieved on and off the pitch during my five years at the club. I will always be grateful to Cardiff, and particularly the fans for the amazing way they welcomed my family and me at the Arms Park."
