Cardiff Rugby are excited to launch two eye-catching Macron kits today ahead of the 2025-26 season.

The new kits have been launched digitally today, with items available to purchase online, before the physical reveal at Summerfest where the Blue & Blacks face Richmond FC.

First team stars Alex Mann, Ben Thomas, Evan Lloyd, Ioan Lloyd, James Botham, Mason Grady, Teddy Williams and Theo Cabango showcased the new strips, with the home version taking inspiration from the city.

HOME: Blue and black

The home kit features a traditional blue and black hoop design and, in a nod to the club’s forthcoming 150th anniversary, features sublimated iconography which celebrates an unrivalled history and the capital city.

Among these are Cardiff Castle, the Millennium Centre, traditional and modern skulls and crossbones and the iconic “Billy the Seal”.

The Cardiff Rugby badge appears on the left with Principal Partners RSK proudly emblazoned on the front. The year of foundation of the club, 1876, is embroidered in white at the back of the neck, while the Arms Park entrance is embossed on the back of the jersey.

Black shorts with blue piping complete the new ‘Home’ kit. The socks are sky blue with a black top with 1876 on the front, just above the ankle, while the Macron Hero appears at the back.

Alternate

The alternate jersey sees a simpler design and a return to pink, with a classy navy trim. The jersey features a subtle, sublimated hoop design, in a nod to the club’s traditions and the ‘Villa Cardiff’ logo embossed on the back. Both the shorts and socks are predominantly pink, with navy detailing.

The Body Fit shirts are made from Eco Armevo with Eco Bodytex and Eco Strong Mesh inserts for maximum strength, lightness, and breathability, further consolidating Cardiff’s commitment to sustainability. Each jersey contains 13 reused plastic bottles and each pair of shorts eight.

Replica versions of the new kits and all the other items in Macron’s teamwear collection for Cardiff Rugby are available exclusively at the Arms Park at Summerfest tomorrow and can be purchased online now.

Cardiff would like to thank Macron and RSK for their continued support, as well as all of our Kit Partners, who enjoyed an exclusive reveal at Fine Wines yesterday.

These include MSS, Hugh James, Indigo, MechTech Professionals, High Motive, Pure Cyber, David Spear Commercials, We Care Communications, as well as new partners Steelphalt and Ron Skinner and Sons.
