New signing Kirby Myhill admits the opportunity to work alongside Danny Wilson again was a key factor behind his future move to Cardiff Blues.
Hooker Myhill will move to BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park from Scarlets next season alongside regional team-mate George Earle.
And that means the 24-year-old will link up next season with Wilson, after the pair worked together at both Scarlets and in the Wales Under-20 set-up.
“I’m really looking forward to the move and Danny is a big factor in that,” said Myhill. “We’ve worked together before and I feel I can improve with him as my coach.
“It is hard to leave Scarlets, I have grown up here and it is a big part of me. But this is a new challenge and the right time.
“There has been big competition for places at Scarlets the last few seasons and I know that will be the case at Cardiff Blues too and just as hard.
“But I will keep my head down, work hard and do everything I can to make a big impression.”
