Following recent media reports regarding Cardiff Blues playing at Leckwith Stadium, Cardiff Blues Chief Executive, Robert Norster, issued the following statement.
We continue to work with Cardiff City Football Club and its partners regarding the potential use of Leckwith Stadium by the Blues. A very broad outline of a possible heads of terms agreement has been tabled. Naturally, much of the necessary detail will only fully emerge once matters become more formalised over the coming weeks.
We also continue to explore the best way forward for professional rugby in our Region as we seek to grow and challenge in an ever increasingly competitive environment. Needless to say, whatever decision is taken we will do what is best for the team and its supporters.
