Cardiff Arm Park will once again play host to international rugby this spring, with two matches in the 2026 Guinness Women’s Six Nations set to be staged at the iconic Cardiff Arms Park as Wales Women’s head coach Sean Lynn named a 38-player squad for the upcoming campaign.

Wales kick off their Six Nations against Scotland at the Principality Stadium on Saturday, April 11 (KO: 4.40pm), before turning their attention to two key fixtures at Cardiff Arms Park against France and Italy, giving supporters the chance to experience top-level international rugby.

Flanker Kate Williams has been named captain and will lead a refreshed squad featuring nine uncapped players, underlining Lynn’s focus on building for the future.

Among those included are a number of rising talents who have impressed in the Celtic Challenge, with 25 members of the squad having featured in the competition across Brython Thunder and Gwalia Lightning.

Speaking on selection, Lynn said the emphasis has been firmly on rewarding form and developing depth:

“This is a new-look Wales squad, and we made it clear at the start of the season we would select players who were playing regular club rugby in the PWR and the Celtic Challenge.

This is the start of a new four-year World Cup cycle, it is a fresh start, and we need to look to the future.”

With a new-look squad, a new World Cup cycle underway, and a wave of emerging Welsh talent, this year’s Guinness Women’s Six Nations represents an exciting chapter for the national side.
