Four teams challenge for Redrow Homes Cardiff Blues Cup final at Arms Park this Sunday

It’s a big day for the youngsters of Pontypridd and St Peters Under 12s as they face each other in the final of the Blues Cup final this Sunday at 11.30am. Pontypridd beat Rumney while St Peters beat Cardiff rivals Llandaff to reach the final
The Under 13s final takes place at 2.30pm with Abercynon taking on Builth Wells, with the Powys side reaching the final by beating Ystrad Rhondda.
In between the two finals there is an Under 8’s tag tournament.
Speaking ahead of the tournament Stuart Rowlands Managing Director of Redrow Homes South Wales said,
On behalf of Redrow Homes we would like to welcome you all to the magnificent Cardiff Arms Park for the finals of the Cardiff Blues Cup.
“This year’s competition has seen the highest uptake in participation in the Cup’s history, and we are delighted that Redrow has been able to be a part of it.
“Families are the heart of Redrow’s work across South Wales, and as we are sure supporters will show, family life in so many communities is built around rugby.
“We would like to offer our personal congratulations to everyone who has taken part in the tournament this year.
“Regardless of where your team finished, the support for rugby across the region has never been higher, and this is something that we hope will only continue.
“Redrow would like to wish all the finalists the very best of luck.
“We hope that the Redrow Homes Cardiff Blues Cup helps to uncover the next generation of rugby talent in Wales, and we are sure we will see many of these mini and junior players back at the Arms Park in the Cardiff Blues colours one day!”
