After bagging his first try in professional rugby to down the Ospreys, Gabriel Hamer-Webb has shifted his focus immediately to Munster.
The wing picked up the BKT Player of the Match award for his part in Cardiff’s six try victory over the Swansea-based side.
Hamer-Webb did remarkably well to finish three tries at the Principality Stadium, demonstrating his explosive power and strength to ride and break contact on his way to the whitewash.

He was thrilled with both the individual and collective display from his side, as his family watched on, but is determined to make it count by backing the performance up on a special occasion against Munster next Friday night.
He said: “It was my first hat-trick in six years of playing professionally. Jockey said this is the best stadium in the world and I can’t argue with that – it was decent!
“In the second half, a lot of momentum was lost by both teams and we had a bit of a lack of discipline at times but we stuck in there and I’m really proud of the boys for doing that.
“One thing we said (at half-time) was don’t let the scoreline affect how we think. It wasn’t a physical game in the second-half, it was a mental thing and we stuck in there.
“We’re going to stick to it now. We’re going to do out prep on Munster, like we did last week, and go into it with fresh minds.
“We won’t let the fact that we won today have anything to do with it. It’s another game, another club and another opportunity. It’s out last game at home as well, the last game for a lot of las to play together at home so we’ll make it special.”
The victory took Cardiff to sixth in the URC table and half-way to Matt Sherratt’s challenge to secure 10-points in two weeks.
