Cardiff Blues will kick off their European Challenge Cup campaign with a home clash against Lyon on Friday, October 13 (7pm).

The Blues were drawn alongside Top 14 outfits Lyon and Toulouse, and Sale Sharks from the Aviva Premiership in Pool Two of the competition.

Fixture dates and kick-off times have now been confirmed for the first four rounds of the competition.

After hosting Lyon at Cardiff Arms Park in Round One, the Blues will then travel to the south of France to face Toulouse.

They then face Sale in the December double headers before rounding off the group stages with Toulouse at home and then Lyon at Matmut Stadium de Gerland.
