Edinburgh clash moved to Meggetland

1st April 2014

Supporters are advised that the RaboDirect PRO12 clash between Cardiff Blues and Edinburgh Rugby on Friday, April 11 (kick-off 7.45pm) has been moved from Murrayfield to Meggetland.

The Murrayfield playing surface is being ripped up and replaced with a new, hybrid pitch in time for next season.

The pitch works – that start after tonight’s game with Ulster - mean Edinburgh's remaining home games will be relocated and, following consultation with Edinburgh City Council, Edinburgh Leisure and Scottish Rugby, the match against Blues is set for Meggetland.

Pre-sales and season ticket memberships mean that Meggetland (which sold out three days in advance of the previous match v Ospreys) is already at 80% of capacity. Fans are therefore urged to buy their tickets early and guarantee their place.

Tickets for the game between Edinburgh Rugby and Blues will go on sale tonight (Friday) priced from £5 for under-18s, £10 for students and senior citizens and £20 for adults. For more information visit www.edinburghrugby.org
