David Spear Commercial Vehicles have pledged their support to Cardiff Rugby Community Foundation in their drive to INSPIRE, ENGAGE and IMPROVE opportunities for all.
The two-year sponsorship agreement has seen the Foundation supplied with a new vehicle to help fulfil their work throughout the region.
Cardiff’s charitable arm currently engage with more than 60,000 people a year through a variety of programmes centred around inclusion, education, health and employability.
Cardiff Rugby Community Foundation director, Nadine Griffiths, said: “As a region we cover a very large geographical area, we strive to hit all corners to inspire, engage and improve opportunities for all in our communities.
“Last year we engaged over 60’000 people through a huge variety of programmes in our schools, clubs and with community groups, really making a difference to people who need it most.
“We hugely appreciate the support that David Spears Commercials has given us , by providing us a superb vehicle. I can’t tell you how much this has made a difference to us, whether it's being able to fit all equipment to take to schools, deliver food for our Fit & Fed provision to help ease the burden of holiday hunger or attending and supporting local community events. It has made a great difference to us in being able to deliver to more people, right in the heart of their communities.

The vehicle is already covering the length and breadth of the Cardiff Rugby region, most recently at a series of school visits.
David Spear director, Geraint Yeo is pleased to extend the company’s support of Welsh rugby to the capital city and he is determined to take the relationship from strength to strength.
He said: “We have been involved with some of the other regions for a number of years, it has been a long-standing goal to partner with Cardiff Rugby.
