Cardiff Rugby can confirm supporters will be legally required to obtain an NHS Covid pass in order to attend matches at Cardiff Arms Park from October 11.
The Welsh Government recently announced legislation which impacts stadiums with an attendance in excess of 10,000 or 4,000 in stadia with terracing.
Cardiff Arms Park is affected from the United Rugby Championship encounter against Cell C Sharks on Saturday, October 16.
From this fixture, all attendees aged 18 and over will need to present either a digital or paper Covid pass as proof of their double vaccination or a negative Lateral Flow Test.
This introduction of Covid-19 passes ensures we will be able to open our gates and operate in an as close to normal fashion as possible, while adding an extra layer of risk mitigation.
