Connacht announce squad for Saturday

5th April 2007

Connacht have announced a 27 man squad ahead of their Magners League clash with Cardiff Blues at the Sportsground on Saturday (kick off 6.30pm).

The squad shows call ups for both Connacht members of the Ireland U20 grand slam winning side, Aidan Wynne and Andrew Browne. This will be the first time both Ireland U20 players have been included in a squad before a competitive senior match for the province and after the success they experienced during the Six Nations, will be eager to stake their claim for a place on the senior side.

Matt Mostyn has also been included in the squad, having recovered sufficiently from his ankle injury sustained in the previous clash between these two sides in November, while scoring a try.

There will also be a special offer family ticket for this Saturdays match. The ticket, at a cost of €25, covers admission for two adults and two children to the game. Normally tickets cost €15 each or alternatively €20 for the enclosed stand, while students and OAPs are €10, with children being admitted for €5.
Tickets are available from the Connacht Branch on (091) 561 568 or alternatively from www.ticketmaster.ie.
