The second Cardiff Blues Community Coaching night will take place on Monday, November 14th at Beddau RFC at 7.00pm.
The open coaching night will be based on the 'set piece' with David Young, Director of Coaching and Richard Webster, Forwards Coach working with the Beddau 1st XV.
The coaching clinic follows on from the success of the first clinic held at Pontypridd RFC in August. As per the first coaching night, the coaches will have microphones to explain various aspects of the set piece. The invitations to attend have been sent out to all 56 clubs in the region and the event is aimed at coaches who aspire to develop new ideas and techniques used in the professional game.
The Clinic is part of the Cardiff Blues strategy of involving the clubs more in Blues activities. Any coaches who feel their team require improvement on set piece work are welcome to attend and be sure to have questions ready for the coaches. Richard Hodges - Community & Coach Manager for the Cardiff Blues said, Obviously we have coaches at the Blues who have played at the highest level in the set piece and the knowledge they can pass on to coaches throughout the region is invaluable, all coaches whether they be in mini, junior, schools, youth or even up to semi professional level are welcome to attend
If you require further information about the evening please contact Richard Hodges on 07740 612 798.
